Immerse yourself in the scenic beauty of Evergreen as our outdoor stages transform into a haven for music enthusiasts. Surrounded by towering pines and crisp mountain air, this festival promises an unparalleled experience that goes beyond just music.
Established in 2023 by the Peeters Vanags Family of Evergreen, Colorado, the Wooden Hawk foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) Colorado Corporation with a mission to provide ongoing support to the Evergreen mountain community school system in areas such as educational, mentoring and financial.
The Foundation embodies the Peeters Vanags family’s commitment to leaving a meaningful and enduring mark on the world.
Bringing Performing Arts to Every Student
Arts in Schools (AIS), sponsored by the Wooden Hawk Foundation, brings theater and choral programs directly into local K–12 schools at no cost. By removing financial barriers, AIS nurtures creativity, confidence, and collaboration, helping students thrive both on stage and in life.
Future Center & Alumni Center – completion date May 2026
The Futures Center and Alumni Center at Conifer High School are scheduled for completion in May 2026, bringing students a dedicated hub for exploring life after graduation. Together, these spaces will connect CHS students with internships, trades, military, college, and gap-year opportunities while fostering meaningful relationships with alumni who can share real-world insight, guidance, and support.
Wooden Hawk is pleased to announce the completion of – the Evergreen High School Future’s Center and Alumni Center. The collaborative goal of both has been to offer students access to internships, financial support and alumni contact for all future pathways.
