Where students take center stage
Come early, hike, bike, fish, SUP, canoe, kayak, shop and recreate then join the Evergreen Dam Ducky Derby followed by a day of music, food and fun at the Mountain Music Fest and top it all off with a night of entertainment at one of our local establishments.
These local venues have scheduled events to keep you entertained after the festival.

Morning yoga class presented by Awake Festival at Festival grounds.

Jenna Weidner, a Colorado native and 2017 graduate of Evergreen High School is a singer-songwriter living in Nashville, Tennessee and works for the biggest guitar brand in the world, Gibson. Growing up in Evergreen, Jenna was an active member of the performing arts community.

The genealogy and musical roots of Firefall run deep in the fertile soil of American Folk/Rock music. Defying industry labels, they melded country, folk, easy listening and rock ‘n’ roll, creating a sound uniquely their own, helping to define a generation and forever changing the landscape of contemporary music.

The Mountain Music Fest is a celebration of student talent and diversity. Throughout the festival grounds, you’ll find booths featuring the myriad of clubs, organizations, arts, and sports teams showcasing interests and engaging in interactive participation.
Bring the family, bring a friend or come alone – You’ll find a day to enjoy at your own pace, nestled in the beautiful serenity of Evergreen, Colorado and surrounded by good time happy fun!

Kickstart your festival day with an exhilarating yoga session. Experience a sneak peek into the serenity of their Outdoor Yoga Festival with this inclusive hour-long class, suitable for all levels. Included in your Music Festival ticket, simply bring your yoga mat and join us as we harmonize with nature, immerse ourselves in music, and embrace the essence of wellness!
Mark your calendar: The 4th Annual AWAKE Festival is Sep 13-15, 2024 at Buchanan Field, Evergreen, CO. AWAKE is a weekend-long, wellness gathering to restore, rejuvenate and reconnect! AWAKE offers 50+ yoga/wellness talks + workshops, live music, conscious dance, kirtan, a thriving vendor village all with delicious food and camping available on-site. Centered in the cozy mountain town of Evergreen, CO, AWAKE shines a light on yoga, holistic health providers, organic food, nature and so much more.
We’re throwin’ down a hoe down so get up and get down! Everyone who’s anyone will want to be here – and any fun won’t include everyone without you, dear! 🙂
The Evergreen High School will be in force to showcase a variety of clubs, sports teams and organizations. There will be games, contests and an otherwise veritable potpourri of entertaining action setting a new standard for how much super great fun times are legally tolerable.

The Dam Ducky Derby is sponsored by the Downtown Evergreen Business Association and is a much loved family event. Where else can you go to see thousands of bright yellow, rubber ducks dropped into Bear Creek from high atop an 85-foot ladder fire engine? Nowhere but here. Downtown Evergreen is also celebrating “Derby Day” with fun activities in the main parking lot starting a few hours before the race. Take some time to shop and dine. After you’ve enjoyed Evergreen’s downtown businesses and restaurants, bring your soggy duck or duck ticket for a discounted admission to the Mountain Music Festival and join us at Buchanan Park for an afternoon and early evening of music and fun! The Dam Ducky Derby is the main fundraiser for the much-loved Annual Holiday Walk.
Get ready to be amazed and filled with joy as Mr. Goody Goody the clown brings his extraordinary talent to the Mountain Music Fest! His incredible balloon sculptures will captivate festival-goers of all ages, spreading happiness and wonder throughout the event. Get ready for a magical experience that will leave smiles on everyone’s faces!
Lamar Lopez, the artist and owner of Fab faces entertainment has been offering Face painting and Henna tattoos in the Denver area for the last decade. She is a full-time artist and instructor that works with a large network of entertainers, bringing smiles and so much more to every event! Please keep us in mind for future events!
Need to cool off during all this summer heat?
For some fun in the sun, be sure to bring an extra pair of clothes or your swimsuit to the Mountain Music Fest! Come visit the Young Rotarians booth where you can find their dunk tank and get a chance to dunk your friends, teachers, and fellow festival-goers!
