Meet Waylon Keane — The Wizard Behind the Mix

If you’ve ever wondered who keeps the music magic flowing and the lights dazzling at MMF, meet Waylon Keane — our resident tech prodigy. A Conifer High School junior with over eight years of local theater experience, Waylon traded center stage for the control booth, where he ensures every mic check and spotlight hit lands just right. He’s proof that the next generation isn’t just watching from the crowd — they’re running the show.

The Mountain Music Fest isn't just about the music.

We’ve got a day of fun in the works!

Think: One part carnival + one part music festival. Or maybe the other way around? Which ever you prefer is exactly what awaits. 🙂

The Mountain Music Fest is a celebration of student talent and diversity. Throughout the festival grounds, you’ll find booths featuring the myriad of clubs, organizations, arts, and sports teams showcasing interests and engaging in interactive participation.

Bring the family, bring a friend or come alone – You’ll find a day to enjoy at your own pace, nestled in the beautiful serenity of Evergreen, Colorado and surrounded by good time happy fun!

By the Students, For the Students

We’re throwin’ down a hoe down so get up and get down! Everyone who’s anyone will want to be here – and any fun won’t include everyone without you!

Students will be in force to showcase a variety of clubs, sports teams and organizations. There will be games, contests and an otherwise veritable potpourri of entertaining action setting a new standard for how much super great fun times are legally tolerable.

Be sure to check out all the student booths and learn from them how great their teams and clubs and organizations are!

The MMF Recycling Center:
Where Sustainability Takes Center Field

Right in the heart of Mountain Music Fest, you’ll find one of the most dynamic and impactful booths on the field—the MMF Recycling Center. This high-energy, hands-on hub is led by the Evergreen Middle School Green Team, in partnership with Evergreen Sustainability and Foothills Recycling.

They’re not just collecting aluminum cups and water bottles—they’re sparking a movement. With fun, actionable tips and an infectious passion for sustainability, these students are showing festivalgoers how to reduce waste and make smarter choices. Every bottle or can returned becomes a donation to the EMS Green Team, so your empties turn into impact.

And there’s more: rumor has it Foothills Recycling will be giving out free recycling coupons redeemable at their Bergen Park facility. So stop by, pitch in, and help keep our mountain community clean, green, and plastic-free.

The Mountain Music Fest net proceeds go to supporting the school projects and educational initiatives of the Wooden Hawk Foundation.
