Alex is passionate about the performing arts and honored to have been selected to open this year’s Mountain Music Festival! She has been studying piano for nine years, classical voice for seven years, and violin for five years. Alex will be a sophomore at Evergreen High School this fall where she enjoys playing in the orchestra. More recently she has been influenced by pop and country musical styles and looks forward to performing songs from those genres this summer. When not playing music, she can be found on stage in regional community theater productions or dancing with her ballet studio in Evergreen.

She would like to thank the Wooden Hawk Foundation for this incredible opportunity and looks forward to sharing more music with the Evergreen community. She is grateful for all of the support from her family, friends, teachers, and mentors!
